Alexis Bell is a film director, producer, and writer from Newport News, Virginia. She uses film to drive community impact, imagine different worlds, and create social change. With a background in journalism, Alexis brings new, transformative stories to the screen. Of the Soil will be her directorial debut, a verité documentary film following a local farmer as he builds the infrastructure for a more sustainable agricultural future.
